Stressed about term papers? Finals? What to do with your life after you’ve graduated? Take a break from stressing and join the Peer Support Network and Heatwave Radio in the courtyard today (April 6) for De-Stress Day!
From 12 – 4 pm today you’ve got the chance to relax and hang out with your friends, and celebrate the last day of classes! Run by the Peer Support Network, and with music provided by Heatwave it’s an opportunity to have a laugh before cracking down on studying. The best part? It’s free! They’ve got prizes like restaurant gift cards and Students’ Union swag, which can be won through games like a ball toss or a horizontal bungee race. Did I mention there will be balloons? Bungee races aren’t your thing? That’s cool too– they’ve got bubbles, a colouring station, and henna provided by volunteers. Finally, check out the dunk tank where current and new student executive and board members will be getting dunked alongside the PSN team leads!
Throughout the year the PSN hosts office hours where anyone can stop in for a chat or support. They work out of the same space as the Pride Resource Centre and Womens’ Resource Centre on the bottom floor of the UNC building.
